After our crit session on Monday, my tutors and my class mates made some suggestions of how i could improve the work I had done and what I could do to finish my project. After looking at my work more closely, I decided to go back to my original silhouettes and tweak some of the rotoscoping to make it cleaner and look better.
I was planning to put 3D hearts and balloons into my project as the 3D element and animate them, however one of my tutors suggested I use text as my 3D element in order to add more depth to the scene.
I decided that this would look a lot better and would probably be more simple, so this is what I have done today.
I have picked out phrases from the song I have used, created them in 3D, put them into my After Effects project and animated them. I am very pleased with the result and have exported my project as a movie file which I can hand in. However, depending on how much time I have when all the rest of my work is complete, I might add a few more phrases to fill up some of the gaps in the scene.
